Pilot in the Irish Air Corps
Adam Harkin joined the Irish Air Corps in 1998.
He flew maritime surveillance patrols over the Atlantic Ocean in the Casa CN-235 Persuader, trained pilots on a Super King Air 200, carried out surveillance work with the Garda Air Support Unit and captained the Ministerial Air Transport Service Government jet flying the Irish government heads of state and ministers.
Commercial Airline Pilot with Aer Lingus
Adam left the military in 2014 after 16 years of service to become a pilot in Aer Lingus and he became an Aer Lingus flight instructor in 2016 on the Airbus A320 family.
Adam has extensive commercial and military experience. He also has an academic background with a Master of Science in Air Transport Management with Distinction and a Master Of Science in Investment, Treasury and Banking. He has been a flight instructor since 2004.
Adam has been very successful coaching and preparing candidates for interviews with the Irish Air Corps and many airlines over the last decade.
